Greetings, and welcome to my little Library. My name is Belle. You probably know that I once lived in a small village in France, which apart from the bookshop I visited every day was terribly dull. Then my father got lost in the woods on the way to the fair, and when I went to rescue him I found myself a captive in the castle of a hideous Beast. Eventually we began to get along, and he changed so much while I was there that when I saw my father sick and lost in the woods again, he let me go to him. I came back shortly after to find the Beast dying. As I wept, things began to change ... before I knew it, a handsome Prince was standing before me! It was the Beast, after the enchantment placed on him had been broken. Now, here you'll find everything you could want to know about Beauty and the Beast, the Disney movie in which you'll find me. The script, a synopsis, lots of pictures, character information, song lyrics ... and much more. Just click on one of the little buttons below to begin searching all the books my library has -- I'm sure you'll find something to hold your interest.
Oh -- one more thing before you go. I should probably warn you that Gaston was spotted around here not long ago, so please watch out for him as you wander around the Library. Stay on the main paths and you should be fine. But you have been warned -- if you see him, I'd advise you to come back straight away and come find me.
Okay. This is where you'll find all the buttons to take you to other parts of the Library. Try them all and see where they take you but again, watch out for Gaston! I just know he's hiding around here somewhere. So be careful.
I think most of the buttons there should be pretty self-explanatory. Just read the button and you should (I hope) be able to figure out where it goes. Should you wish to contact the webmistress of this site to tell her what you think of it, or perhaps suggest some other things that she could put up ... maybe you even have something you would like to contribute yourself ... you may do so here. She checks her e-mails as often as she can, so you should get a reply within a couple of days. If you don't, keep bugging her! She *will* reply eventually. I must leave you for a little while ...
