A Spirit's job is to visit sites of fighters in the Cartoon Wonders competition and leave little messages of luck and a nice giftie or two in their guestbooks.  The sites we visit are assigned by our Head Spirit, Lady Boopie.  While we're signing the guestbooks, we also check that everything else is in order -- that is, that vote and members banners are displayed and linked correctly and we check for any inappropriate content.  This is written down in a report, which we submit to Lady Boopie every week.  It's great fun!  As a Friends of Disney spirit, the sites I visit are sites that are members of the Disney team.  It's a very rewarding job, and I get to visit loads of wonderful sites! If you have a site competing in the Cartoon Wonders and you think you might be interested in becoming a Spirit, you might want to contact Lady Boopie and ask her if there's any positions open -- there usually is.  Or you can go to the Staff page at the Cartoon Wonders and fill in the form there requesting to become a Spirit.  It really doesn't take all that long to visit and dust the sites you're assigned for that week.  You can just be a Spirit for one team, if you don't think you can spare the time to dust sites for both.  Your duties are handed out on a Sunday or Monday and are required to be completed by Friday.  But it IS great fun, so please consider joining the Spirits!
